What is our antimicrobial technology?

Our technology is the ONLY green antimicrobial technology in the world. What differentiates NANOPROTECT SHIELD™ System from regular cleaning products?

Conventional cleaners, that your facility is currently using, quickly kill and reduce the number of bacteria on a surface, however, once they dry, the bacteria begin to grow and can quickly return to unsafe levels. So, over the counter cleaners require continual application and are often chemically harmful when used for prolonged periods of time in high concentrations. What is NANOPROTECT SHIELD's™ guaranteed 360° protection?

We use cutting-edge patented spray technology to apply our disinfectant and antimicrobial coating to your facilities surfaces. This groundbreaking spraying system electrically charges our solutions with positive ions. Since all of your facilities surfaces (chairs, equipment, walls, floors, desks etc.) naturally carry a negative charge, our solution is attracted to them, landing on the surfaces and independently moving to locate an uncoated area and bonding to create an even spread. This means that our solutions wrap around all sides of your surfaces and even cover hidden and shadowed areas, to create an effective and even protection.

What types of bacteria and microbes does our technology and the NANOPROTECT SHIELD™ System protect against?

The NANOPROTECT SHIELD™ System protects against a number of bacteria, viruses and mold/fungi. This includes E.coli, Staphylococcus, mold, mildew, algae, fungi and any other microorganism that can mutate and grow on a surface.

How does our antimicrobial technology work?

Our technology kills microbes by instantly creating an inhabitable surface with a shield of nano-spikes that pierce and rupture the cell membrane of any microbe. This shield remains intact for up to 6 months, continuously killing all harmful bacteria and viral organisms. Each molecular spike carries a positive charge that instantly kills negatively charged bacteria. The molecular spikes pierce the cell membrane, and the bacterial microorganism dies. Since we use a mechanical kill method, compared to a chemical kill method (which is used by most cleaners), no antimicrobial resistant strains (or Superbugs) can develop.

Is our antimicrobial technology safe?

Yes. It is safe for humans and the environment. It is not poisonous, contains no toxic chemicals or heavy metals and has EPA, PMRA and FDA Master file approval. Other antimicrobial products may have chemicals, such as triclosan that have been banned by the FDA.

Once a surface is treated with the NANOPROTECT SHIELD™ System, can it be treated with traditional cleaning solutions?

Yes, all NANOPROTECT SHIELD™ surfaces can be treated with a Ph balanced cleaning solution (3 to 10.5) without affecting the antimicrobial coating and protection at all.

Where can the NANOPROTECT SHIELD™ technology be applied?

On all of life’s surfaces, including porous and non-porous surfaces, unlike disinfectants which can only be used on hard, non-porous surfaces. We treat and protect all surfaces in your facility that may harbour bacterial and microbial growth.
